Who we are

UPRIGHT is run by Frank Baah, a sole trader trading as Upright, 49 Station Road, Polegate, BN26 6EA, United Kingdom. For anything about your data, email hello@uprightdrinks.co.uk.

What we collect

• Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
• Where you're based, if you choose to tell us.
• Whether you joined through a friend's personal link, and how many people join through yours. We use this only to count referrals and send rewards.
• Anything you send us when you reply to an email.
• Your answers to our optional survey, and your email if you ask to join our taste panel.

Why we collect it

To send you updates about UPRIGHT: launch news, founding-member offers and the occasional question about what you'd like from the drink. We use your answers to help shape the product.

We rely on your consent. You give it when you join, and you can withdraw it at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" at the bottom of any email, or by emailing us.

Who else handles it

We never sell your data. We use a small number of services to run the waitlist:

• systeme.io, which hosts this website and sends our emails.
• LaunchList, which runs our sign-up form and referral links.
• Make, which passes your sign-up from LaunchList to systeme.io.
• Google Forms, which collects answers to our optional survey and taste panel sign-ups.
• Google Workspace, where replies to our emails arrive.

These services only handle your data on our behalf.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. If we stop the waitlist, we'll delete the list.

Cookies

This site only uses the cookies it needs to work. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we'll ask you first.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Just email hello@uprightdrinks.co.uk. We'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
